In our recent website survey we asked what do you look for when you visit our site? That was so helpful to our development group, it shows us what you need and what may not be so important to you.
Check out this graph with the results. Do you agree with the results? Leave a comment and let us know. Also don’t forget to do the optimal sorting exercise.
The City of Grand Forks is in the process of developing a new city website, with an anticipated launch in spring 2014. Part of that process is gathering important information from you, the user as we enhance our usability experience (Ux).
The city would like to ask the public to participate in a “Card Sorting” online exercise. This exercise will give users a list of webpages that are on the city website. The exercise is to group these webpages into groups. This information will be gathered and used to help determine the most logical navigation on the new city website.
In addition the City of Grand Forks has created this blog for the purpose of following the website development process. This blog will also give residents an opportunity to give feedback on the new website.
We appreciate your participation in the exercise and for visiting the blog and thank you for providing this valuable feedback for this new website.
